I was running a CFA with categorical variables, and I kept getting the EMPTY CELL warnings regarding the bivariate tables. However, I did go back and check my raw data, and performed a number of cross-tables in order to find out where the empty cell was. The SPSS output showed that none of them had an empty cell. I was wondering which step had gone wrong, and what should I do to get a proper CFA output as well as the output for tests of model fit? |

Use the CROSSTABS option of the OUTPUT command to see the Mplus crosstabs. Perhaps you are not reading your data correctly. |
