I am doing an LPA using three measures as class indicators. Each indicator is an average of 6-10 ratings using a 0-10 likert scale. Does the LPA model include an assumption of normally distributed class indicators? I am concerned about this because the indicators that I'm using have a skewed distribution. Thanks! Dan |

No, with mixture modeling you would expect non-normal outcomes. |
