I am attempting to model a set of autoregressive crosslag models over 6 occasions, but am running into an error when using one continuous variable and one count outcome. The error is below. Can you specify how to model variances for a count variable: *** ERROR in MODEL command Variances for count variables are not currently defined. Variance given for: S0SROV *** ERROR in MODEL command Variances for count variables are not currently defined. Variance given for: S1SROV *** ERROR in MODEL command Variances for count variables are not currently defined. Variance given for: S2SROV *** ERROR in MODEL command Variances for count variables are not currently defined. Variance given for: S3SROV *** ERROR in MODEL command Variances for count variables are not currently defined. Variance given for: S4SROV *** ERROR in MODEL command Variances for count variables are not currently defined. Variance given for: S5SROV |

There is no (residual) variance parameter for a count DV. See our RMA book chapter on count modeling. Also, for count DVs, WITH statements need to be replaced by a factor measured by both DVs. |
