Hello all, I am exploring Mplus for multilevel modeling. It looks very interesting, but I can't seem to find a possibility to request pairwise testing (contrasts) of fixed effects. The equivalent in SAS would be the ESTIMATE-statement in PROC MIXED, or in Mlwin the ftest-command. Is it possible to request those statistics, or (approximately) calculate them from the Mplus output? thanks, Maarten |

You give "labels" to the fixed effect parameters, say b1 and b2, and then use Model Test to test say their equality: Model Test: 0 = b1-b2; |

That was indeed what I was looking for. Thanks for the fast response & the very capable software-package. Maarten |
