I am interested in estimating simultaneous equation models with censored data. I think MPlus is able to do this. My questions are... 1) Which product should I buy? (can MPlus base handle this?) 2) Is there any limitation on the number of dependent variables? |

If you are simply doing path analysis with censored variables involved, you need the BASE program. Mplus has a limit of 500 variables. |

Thanks for you advice... However, I found it impossible to run a simultaneous equation in my interest in path analysis. (if variables are endogenous, there is no convergence) For example, I want to run a model as follows MODEL: y1 on y2 x1; y2 on y1 x2; where both y1 and y2 are censored. Can you advise me which option I should use (or which chapter in the manual to consult)? |
