I conducted LCA analyses including R3STEP procedure; I did that stratified for males and females while using 5 imputed data sets with type=imputation; I was asked to perfom some kind of interaction analysis/ statistical testing of gender differences with respect to the associations found within the R3STEP procedure. Do you have any suggestions for me how to get such a statistical test in Mplus ? Across gender we found the same number of classes, which also have similar meaning. However, would such a test make sense, when item response probabilities vary for males and females in some classes? Thanks |

You can analyze both genders at the same time and include gender and gender*x interactions among the covariates to see if those interactions are significant. |
