I am conducting multilevel analysis using repeated cross-sectional data where I have set up each cross-section year as a separate group in a multiple group multilevel analysis where students are clustered within schools. What is your guidance on comparing the groups? Is there a useful way of comparing them using the default output of type=twolevel, or is there a better way of comparing the groups using Model Constraint language or post hoc tests? |

Use Model Constraint - unless you have a CFA-type measurement part of the model in which case you can check config-metric-scalar invariance over the groups automatically. |
