I am running a four-group LGM with several covariates. The model has two different measures, with three time points for each measure. The value listed under Intercepts in the output for my first group for the first latent intercept is negative. I am not sure how to interpret this, as negative scores are not possible on the measures I am using. The model has excellent fit and I didn't receive any error messages. Thanks for your assistance. |

A negative intercept does not imply that the mean of the DV is negative. There is also a contribution to the mean from the IVs. |
