I'm trying to study the correlation (and shared variance) between two variables. However, I do not have scores for items, but only have total scores for each person. If I conduct a structural model between the two variables without first doing a measurement model (because I don't have the item scores), it treats the two variables as observed. Is there a way to treat the variables as latent variables in a structural model without first doing a measurement model? Many thanks. |
