Hi, I have a question regarding the ability of Mplus to calculate confidence intervals of parameters using the delta method. In particular, I have estimated a multinominal logit model and want to estimate the marginal rate of substitution ( or willingness to pay) of two parameters ( ie ratio of two parameters. I can easily estimate the point estimate as the ratio of two parameters, (ie b1/b2), but am unsure if Mplus can use the delta method to determine confidence intervals. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you David |

Yes, the Delta method kicks in automatically also in this case (in any case you can express in Model Constraint in fact). |
