Hello, I conducted a 5-factor EFA, followed by a reliability analysis for each factor. For Factors 1-4, the alpha for each comes out to be between .75-.85; however for Factor 5, my alpha is 0.58. I wanted to know if there is any literature out there that suggests what one can do with a factor that seems to have a much lower alpha value than the rest. I greatly appreciate any suggestions!
