I have a panel data on which I am trying to come up with a fixed effect model. The data is very similar to the example data here: http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/mplus/seminars/introMplus_part1/lda_52.htm I choose Mplus because there are also latent classes that I am going to build upon the fixed effect model. I believe that Mplus can do this, but could anyone give me any detailed instruction on the coding? In example in the above link, a random intercept and a random slope are estimated. What I want is different -- I want to estimate a separate fixed effect for each student. Thank you very much. |

Is there an article using a fixed-effect approach that you want to draw on? |
