Hi, The Mplus manual reads: Unordered categorical dependent variables cannot have more than 10 categories. Why does Mplus have this limitation? Any statistical reason? I happen have data of more than 10 categories, but cannot do the analysis in Mplus. |

No statistical reason; just an assumption on our part that applications typically don't have more than 10 unordered categories. What is your application that gives rise to more than that? |
