hi, working with Mplus 7. i confirm my EFA factos in CFA but 2 of the factor correlations in EFA are not significant while is significant in the CFA. IS there ANY basic explanation to that. hope is normal. |

The EFA and CFA models are very different with many zero factor loadings in the CFA model and many cross-loadings in the EFA model. CFA correlations are typically higher. |
